The committee of the medina, heritage management and the Ensanche district has recommended the digitisation of the architectural and cultural components of the medina. Among the committee's recommendations submitted to the Tetouan City Council are
- the accessibility to the squares and alleys of the medina ;
- the restoration of the medina's towers, gates and arches, in keeping with their original architecture
- raising public awareness on the importance of the sites classified as UNESCO World Heritage.
