The 2023 Fine Arts Award of Tunis has been awarded to visual artist Tarek Souissi for his work "Love".
This is the fourth edition of the prize, which is organised by Tunis City Council. Tarek Souissi succeeds Samir Triki, also a visual artist, and the sculptor Mourad Ben Brika, who were awarded the prize in 2022 and 2021 respectively.
An exhibition of the nominated artists is on at the Medina in Tunis until 31 July.
