Gnaoui musician and master Majid Bekkas returns to the scene with 'Sahara Tnadi'.

Shot in the middle of the Sahara, this piece mixes sounds and wind instruments: gembri, guitar, ribab, bansuri flute and percussion.

"This track is one of the tracks recorded on the album "Joudour", released at the end of 2022 with the Belgian label Igloo to celebrate the 20th anniversary of African Gnaoua Blues," explains the artist on his YouTube channel.

The video clip was directed by Rachid Kacimi. Majid Bekkas has collaborated with several musicians, including Bouhssine Foulane (ribab) and Manuel Hermia (bansuri).

Majid Bekkas will perform alongside great musicians at the "Winter Sounds Festival" at the Théâtre de la Cité Internationale in Paris. The first concert, scheduled for 28 January, will be with Emile Parisien, Hamid Drake Aly Keita and the Gnaoua of Brussels. The second, scheduled for 2 February, will feature pianist Joachim Kuhn and drummer Ramon Lopez.
