Mohammed V University in Rabat was given on January 5 in Cairo. This distinction rewards the school for having developed an IT system which allows:
- a better management of doctoral registrations;
- a decrease regarding the use of paper and energy consumption.
The award was presented to Latifa Hafid, in charge of the university's Presidency, in the presence of the Deputy Permanent Representative of Morocco to the Arab League, Hicham Ould Essallay.
The Arab Government Excellence Award was launched by the UAE government in 2019, in partnership with the League of Arab States.
