The Shaikh Ebrahim Centre for Culture and Research invited Kuwaiti novelist Buthaina Al-Issa on January 2 for a groundbreaking lecture on the role of the novel, tackling the following question "Novel and interpretation: what can only the novel say?" The conference was also an opportunity for the audience to discover the methodology of writing a novel, and the way the author uses silence.
This lecture is part of a series running from October 2022 to January 2023 entitled "Stand at the Corner of the Dream and Fight". The next guest will be Egyptian poet and engineer Amin Haddad who received the Cairo International Bokk Award in 2017 for his poetry collection "Time Stolen Us".
