Born in Beirut in 1999, Léa Moukanas studied at Science Po Paris. In 2015, after her grandmother's death due to leukaemia, she founded the Aïda Association to help young people fighting cancer. It was the first association giving minors a voice and a role in hospitals. Léa became the youngest president of a charity in Europe.
She currently manages a team of 21 people. Her organisation raises awareness, mobilises 80,000 young people and trains 2,500 volunteers to work on a daily basis in 50 partner hospitals in France.
In 2020, she was part of a group of 10 which co-founded the Collège Citoyen de France, a school training future leaders. Léa received lots of awards and she was recently nominated in the "The 100 changing the world" ranking as well a sin the "24 French people who did 2020".
