The 10th edition of the cultural event was themed "Shift Away", offering the public a two-day mix of concerts, exhibitions and culinary experiences mainly on Alserkal Avenue.
Quoz Arts Fest is a platform for up-and-coming artists from all disciplines to showcase their talents, but it also attracts international artists. Thus, many galleries participated in the event such as Mestaria Gallery, or Ishara Art Foundation.
One of this year's main art piece was created by Montreal-based digital art studio Iregular. Entitled "As Water Falls", this installation is composed of two large screens at ceiling height in the central courtyard of Alserkal Avenue. It explores different aspects of water in the form of a giant digital waterfall which reacts and moves according to the lighting of the audience's mobile phone lights (see picture).
