This announcement was made by the General Secretary of the Arab League. The event will be attended by governmental bodies from member countries, but also by civil society organisations.
The agenda will focus on the following topics
- Defining the criteria to obtain the observer status for national human rights institutions at the Commission;
- The Israeli violations and racist practices in the occupied Palestinian territories;
- The issue of Arab prisoners in Israeli prisons.
