Cairo: "Tharwat Okasha" exhibition, at the Mahmoud Mokhtar Cultural Center, on September 266 and 27.

Tharwat Okasha was an Egyptian writer, translator and Minister of Culture in the late 1950s in the government of President Nasser.

He is considered as the founder of Egyptian cultural institutions.

The exhibition is divided into two parts. The first is at the Nahdet Misr gallery, presenting nearly 42 pieces (official documents, photographs, press articles, etc.). The second part is held at Isis Hall and displays the work of seven artists: Ezzedine Naguib, Ismat Doustachi, Ali Desouki, Farghali Abdel Hafeez, Mohamed Rizk, Mahmoud Bakshish and Mustafa Abdel Moati.
