A new radio station, Zamane FM, has been launched in Algeria. It is dedicated to promoting Algeria's authentic artistic, musical and theatrical heritage. The Minister of Communication, Mohamed Bouslimani, attended the launch ceremony.
Mohamed Baghali, Director General of Algerian Radio, said that the channel "aims to satisfy the passion of Algerian listeners, and to build bridges between the different generations. It also aims to highlight the creations of previous generations in the fields of theatre, cinema, music and literature, in addition to making radio archives available to listeners."
