This collective exhibition is open until 26 February in Tunis, and brings together five artists around one theme which is "national anthems". The theme explains the title of the exhibition which is the English translation of the Tunisian anthem. The participating artists are : Adel Abidin and Dia Al-Azzawi from Iraq, Hela Ammar from Tunisia and Noor Abuarafeh and Noor Abed from Palestine.
The exhibition is organised in two parts:
- The first part consists of works (mainly audiovisual projections) by the five artists mentioned.
- The second part consists of an interactive installation which welcomes live performances, allowing performers to play the anthem as they wish.
A cultural programme accompanies the exhibition, including a round table on "The Official Tunisian Anthem: Contexts and Readings" on 28 January, with the participation of Hamdi Makhlouf (musician and musicologist), Anis Meddeb (musician and musicologist), and Manel Choukani (musicologist).
