A conference was organised on this occasion on the theme "Moroccan women: from Hudud to their crossing". The event recalled the singular career of the Moroccan writer and sociologist, who gave women a new place in society and in Islam. The tribute also included the screening of the film "Fatema: the unforgettable Sultana" by Mohammed Abderrahman Tazi, and a visit to Fatema Mernissi high school to discuss with students and teachers this great activist who strongly advocated for women's rights.
