The book was originally published in 1988. This new version was updated with contemporary events, up to the Doha agreement in 2008.
According to Maria Saad, the difficulty lies in choosing important events. "We had to choose key dates (...), some of which have changed the course of Lebanon history."
The book - of which Arabic and English versions are on their way - is written like a film, with all its pictures and drawings which try to reproduce different neighbourhoods and situations.
