After last year's success, the festival is back from 22 to 24 June to celebrate the richness and diversity of Gnaoua music in Essaouira. About forty concerts are planned as well as intimate evenings in different places in the city such as Moulay Hassan Square, the Human Rights Forum, Borj Bab Marrakech, etc.
The public will get to discover new fusions, the first of which will take place at the opening of the event with the inaugural concert performed by a Burundi band with American saxophonist Jaleel Shaw, Moroccan singer Sanaa Marahati and Maâlems Mohamed and Saïd Kouyou
