Entitled "Fatima-Zohra unveils and zooms - Banou Mezghenna", this exhibition, organised by the Asselah-Ahmed and Rabah Foundation, presents recent photographs of the city of Algiers. The exhibition closes on 25 February.
Between panoramic views and interior scenes, the art pieces tell the daily life of the inhabitants of the Kasbah. Many of the pictures feature childlike characters, reflecting the artist's hope and love for the city.
Self-taught photographer, Fatima-Zohra Hadj Ahmed began her career in 2012. In 2022, she presented "Sqifa", her first exhibition on the Kasbah of Algiers.
