"Fauda" which means chaos chaos in Arabic in Arabic, tells the story of a military unit led by Commander Doron Kavillio.
The programme is accused of normalising the Israeli occupation and criminalising the Palestinian people. Mohammed Soraya, director, says that the Gaza studio wants to show the Palestinian point of view on the Israeli occupation with the upcoming series "Qabdat Al-Ahrar". While an Israeli military unit is the heroine of "Fauda", "Qabdat Al-Ahrar" features Hamas fighters.
The series, currently in production, will soon be available on streaming platforms.
