Her first novel published in 2019, "A Woman Is No Man", was a portrait of three generations of Palestinian-American women living in Brooklyn. Patriarchy, cultural conflicts, immigration, the Palestinian-American author confronted her personal history as well as the stereotypes surrounding her community.
Her latest book, "Evil Eye", published last March, centres on a Palestinian-American woman whose ambition runs counter to her family's plans.
