TikTok addicts can now create viral videos featuring some of the tracks sang by Arab world's biggest pop stars. Under a new licensing agreement between social media platform and major label Rotana Music Group, TikTok users now have access to the Saudi company's extensive catalogue of music tracks, featuring hits from regional superstars (e.g. Elissa, Amir Diab, Najwa Karam and Mohammed Abdo).
Hari Nair, TikTok's head of music for the Middle East, said the deal would allow access to more diversity in the music catalogue used by content creators. Some of the great tracks now accessible include Mohamed Ramadan's "Corona Virus" and "Dawsha", Tamer Hosny's "Mabatalnash Ehsas", Assala's "Ghalban" and Karam's "Maloun Abou L Echeq".
