Mahdia: "Cinema fi Dark" festival

"Cinema at Home", or "Cinema fi Dark", is a film festival taking place from 25 March to 1 April in Mahdia. Several Algerian films are screened in the event, including documentary "Wakfa aala atlal Ed-Dahra" (Stop at the ruins of the Dahra), which recently won first prize during a competition organised by the Ministry of Moudjahidine.

The documentary tells the story of the independence war in the wilaya of Mostaganem, in the Dahra mountains. Four other Algerian films participate in the festival: "Taghyir" (change) by Idriss Kedidah, "Twakelni ahloum atroukni aiche" by Imad Feghouli, "Aadhra" (virgin) by Aghiles Aichouche and "El Qarar" (the decision) by Mohamed Amine Mufti.
