The visual artist Omar Mahfoudi is exhibiting his works for the first time at the gallery L'Atelier 21, from 24 January to 24 February. Entitled "I was dreaming of the past", the exhibition is an invitation to travel. Omar Mahfoudi's landscapes are astonishing because of the mixture of colours that gives them an airy, almost transparent appearance.
Omar Mahfoudi was born in 1981 in Tangier. Initially known for his portraits, he has started exploring landscapes since he moved to Paris. The colours give a diaphanous aspect to the artist's paintings and drawings, giving them a mysterious dimension.
