Brussels: The Tashattot Collective.

Born in August 2022 from the meeting between artists Rami Moukarzel, Charbel Alkhoury and cultural producer Gaëlle Khalife, Tashattot (Arabic for dispersion) is a Belgium-based art collective dedicated to supporting artists, musicians, filmmakers and cultural practitioners in the broadest sense of the term, originating from the SWANA region and currently "dispersed" in Europe.

The collective is presenting an exhibition at KIOSK until 19 March, featuring the work of several Arabic-speaking artists living in Europe. The works on display address the themes and concepts of separation from the "homeland", distance, exile and sense of belonging.

The participating artists: Asma Laajimi, Christina Atik, Clara Abi Nader, Diana Al Halabi, Firas El Hallak, Firas Shehade, Hussein Shikha, Joanna Kai, Kais Masood, Karen Keyrouz, Micheline Nahra, Mousa AlNana, Tarek Haddad / Laetitia El Hakim
