Beirut: Samia Halaby at the Sfeir-Semler gallery.

This is the first solo exhibition of the Palestinian artist and activist, who lives and works in New York. Her abstract works are characterised by their geometric shapes, which are repeated and spread out on the canvas. With a colourful brushstroke, Samia Halaby likes to paint according to her perception, always listening to her environment. She developed her own computer program, "Amiga", to create moving forms on the screen.

Samia Halaby's exhibition "De-coding colours" can be seen until 15 April, free of charge. Website: https://www.sfeir-semler.com/
