Beirut: 50,000 people visited the library ship "Logos Hope"

The Logos Hope, a literary salon on the sea, docked on December 15, 2022, in the port of the Lebanese capital. Since then, nearly 50,000 people have visited the ship. The "Logos Hope" will leave Beirut on January 3, 2023.

Managed since 2004 by the German NGO Gute Bücher für Alle (Good Books for All or GBA Ships), the ship is 132 metres long and its mission is to bring books to places where they are scarce and expensive. More than 350 volunteers of 60 different nationalities guide the visitors.
