The National Library and Archives of Egypt will participate in the seventh Arabic Calligraphy Forum, which will be organised by the Cultural Development Fund on June 6.
The theme of the forum is "Pioneers Renewed in a Hundred Years (1922 - 2022)", and it is set up in cooperation with the Egyptian General Assembly of Arabic Calligraphy, the Egyptian Opera, the Fine Arts Sector and the Foreign Cultural Relations Sector. It runs from 6 to 20 June 2022.
The head of the Cultural Development Fund sector, Fathi Abdel Wahab, said that the biennial is expected to see the participation of 150 artists, including 63 Egyptian artists and 27 foreign artists (Serbia, China, Tunisia, Pakistan, Iraq, Japan, Thailand, Algeria, Indonesia, Libya, Yemen, Afghanistan, India, Uzbekistan and Nigeria).
