Daniela Cassab's jacket

The young designer grew up in Mexico and is originally from Aleppo. After studying at the Parsons School of Design in New York, she founded her own clothing brand with the idea of favouring slow fashion and promoting Mexican and Syrian crafts. The DanCassab brand was born in 2016, and specialises in leather jackets, which are intended to be timeless and timeless. Inspired by the traditional jackets called Cuera Tamaulipeca worn by hunters in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas, she explained that the fringes were usually designed to shed rain. Daniela Cassab launched her first pop-up store in Dubai this year.
