« Our House Is Very Beautiful At Night »

Lebanese singer-songwriter Karl Mattar's third album will be released on 7 April. Entitled "Our House Is Very Beautiful At Night", the track explores the theme of intergenerational trauma, which haunts Lebanon. This third release ends the artist's "Interbellum" project, which already included two other albums: "Partners" and "Dead Pets, Old Grievances".

"I have always been interested in themes of memory, the past and nostalgia. I have my own baggage from childhood, which I carry around and explore the idea that we have to learn to live with each other's ghosts" - Karl Mattar for Arab News.

This April's single explores a toxic, abusive and dysfunctional relationship. Far from condemning it entirely, Mattar explains the beauty of this intimate relationship.
