Cultural NGO "El Ichara" of Mostaganem theatre organises a national monologue (or one man show) competition from 25 to 27 March on the occasion of the World Theatre Day on 27 March. The event is organised in collaboration with the House of Culture Ould Abderrahmane Kaki and the National Office of Copyright and Related Rights. This fourth edition invites actors from many wilayas: Oran, Tlemcen, Sidi Bel Abbes, Tiaret, Tissemsilt, Chelf, Blida, Souk Ahras, Skikda, Ouargla, etc. This event aims to encourage creativity in Algeria, and is above all an opportunity for young talent to take the stage.
Mohamed Besgheir from the province of Oran was awarded the National Monologue Prize, for which some thirty artists were competing.
