The Naguib Mahfouz Festival is held at Zawya Cinema from 15 February to 2 March. Zawya has unveiled a list of 7 feature films from the classics of Egyptian cinema that will be screened as part of the Naguib Mahfouz Festival activities.
These include "Sarsara Fawq Al- Nil", "Al-Karnak", "Ana Horra", "Bedaya wa Nehaya", "Al-Ekhtiyar" and "Al-Sokariya". These are works taken from Naguib Mahfouz's novels. The author participated in the writing of the scripts of some of them.
