The literary sea fair has been sailing since 2009 and has already reached nearly 100 different ports around the world. Managed since 2004 by the German NGO Gute Bücher für Alle (Good Books for All or GBA Ships), the 132-metre-long ship's mission is to bring books to places where they are scarce and expensive. More than 350 volunteers of 60 different nationalities guide the visitors.
