The Kairouan Arabic Poetry Festival ends in Carthage

The seventh edition of the festival, organised over three days by the Sharjah Department of Culture, invited a number of poets including Muhammad al-Najjar, Mabrouk al-Siyari, al-Mouldi Farouj, Salwa al-Rabihi, Makki al-Hamami, Muhammad Ammar Chaabaniyeh, Makram al-Suwai'i, Fatima Okasha, Amer Majouli, Fawzi al-Mansoori and Halima Bualaq.

During the festival, a seminar was held on "Transformations in Modern Tunisian Poetry" in which academics, writers and critics spoke about the diversity of poetry.
