The results of the 2021-2022 "Ibn Battuta Prize for Travel Literature" are out. The prize is awarded by the Arab Centre for Geographical Literature - Exploring Horizons in Abu Dhabi and London.
Eleven winners were awarded from Syria, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Palestine and Yemen. The full list is available on the following link: https://ibnbattutaaward.com/
The Ibn Battuta Prize was created in 2000 with a first edition in 2003. It is awarded annually to the best works in the genre of travel literature, in order to promote the use of the Arabic language in this literary genre.
