Originally from Rabat, the thirty-year-old artist lives between Casablanca and Chicago. Her work focuses on deconstructing her childhood memories. She is inspired by Morocco, France and the United States to question the themes of displacement, absence and disfigurement.

Video, painting, drawing, or printmaking, her installations question relationships within the family circle such as the relationships between domestic workers and host family members.
