Casablanca: D'jal introduces his new show entitled "À cœur ouvert".

French-Moroccan humorist Jalel - aka D'jal - was quickly noticed at the Just for Laughs Festival in Quebec, then at the Jamel Comedy Club in Paris. His show "L'Houloucouptère", in which he plays a Portuguese character with a strong French accent, became a hit on the web and his film "Portugese Mission" was also well received by the French-speaking audience in 2020.

Today, the comedian presents his new show "À cœur ouvert" in Morocco, alternating jokes in Moroccan dialect and French. From anecdotes about his family and red taxis to pigeons and mosquitoes, he adapts his show to his audience.

"The idea was to adapt and deal with topics which are familiar to the Moroccan people." (Arab News).

The comedian will be back in Morocco for Comedy Festival "Marrakech du rire". In the meantime, he performs in France and prepares the release of the next part of "Portugese Mission".
