Exhibition of Abdul Rahim Sharif in Manama

He is one of Bahrain's most prominent artists and his paintings focus on feelings of alienation, indifference, introversion and emotional disconnection, always with bright and vibrant colours.

Born in 1954 in Manama, he has also lived in New York. His work has been exhibited in the Middle East, Europe and Asia, including solo exhibitions in Bahrain, New York, Sydney and Paris.

As part of the Spring Festival of Culture, the exhibition 'What the Night Does II' features a selection of the artist's work.
